🚴 EVENT RULES – TDF 2026 (TOUR DE FRIENDS)

The challenge targets, team structure, tracking method, and updates will be shared through the official WhatsApp group and email communication before the event begins.

  • Duration: July 4 to July 26, 2026
  • Team-based endurance cycling challenge
  • Each team must complete the selected distance target within the event period
  • Challenge Categories:
    • TDF Challenge - 3333 KM (4 Members)
    • TDF Challenge - 1667 KM (3 Members)
  • All team members contribute towards achieving the overall team target
  • The combined validated team distance will determine challenge completion

  • Each team must have the required number of members based on the selected challenge category
  • Team members can distribute the distance based on their riding schedule and availability
  • Team members can complete rides individually or as a group
  • Every registered rider's valid activity will contribute towards the team's total distance
  • Team names and members cannot be changed after the challenge begins without approval

βš™οΈ Activity Rules

  • Allowed activity: Cycling
  • Outdoor rides only
  • Indoor trainer rides will not be considered
  • Maximum ride distance allowed per day: 210 KM per rider
  • Multiple activities per day are allowed
  • Only activities completed during the official event period will count

πŸ“Š Tracking & Validation

  • Only Strava-recorded activities will be accepted
  • No manual entries or self-reported distances will be considered
  • All activities must be visible and set to public during the challenge period
  • Team distance will be calculated based on validated Strava activities
  • Activities with manipulated GPS data, distance, elevation, or artificial uploads will be disqualified

⚠️ Fair Play

  • Only human-powered cycling activities are allowed
  • Motorized cycles, e-bikes, or battery-assisted rides are not allowed
  • Duplicate activities or suspicious activities may be removed from the leaderboard
  • Repeated violations may result in team disqualification

🏁 Results & Recognition

  • Team progress will be updated through the official leaderboard
  • Leaderboard rankings will be based on validated team distance
  • Teams completing their target distance will be recognized as TDF finishers
  • Certificates/badges will be awarded based on successful completion

All decisions regarding activity validation, leaderboard updates, rule interpretation, and final results will be considered final.
